The Fisherman's
Inn
Restaurant in Winter Harbor is Downeast Maine's premier dining
spot. Host/chef Carl Johson, a classically trained graduate of the
Culinary Institute Of America, was named "Maine Chef Of The Year" by
two chapters of the American Culinary Federation. His acomplishments
have been detailed repeatedly in numerous regional publications.
Whenever possible, Carl uses locally produced foods, wines, and beers.
Fresh seafood and other products bought daily add local flavor and
nutritional value. Carl describes his fare as "Real Food, Done Well"
and asserts that he wants each and every meal at Fisherman's Inn to be
a memorable "Downeast Dining Experience".
